Hi there, I’m Helen McDaniel, an award winning family portrait photographer conveniently located in Lisburn!

Together with my better half, Trevor, we make Helen McDaniel Portrait Studio a real family affair! While I’m busy capturing your family memories in the studio, Trevor is assisting with the selection of your favourite shots, then working with you to design custom wall portraits that’ll leave everyone in awe.

Along with Ashlene, Francesca and Laura, who look after our diary, we make a great wee team. We’re a friendly bunch, and we work hard to make your portrait session relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish.

We know how much your family means to you. Our priority is capturing those moments in our own signature style, so you end up with portraits you’ll treasure for years to come.

Did you know we used to be called Precious Photography Studio? In May 2023 we rebranded as Helen McDaniel Portrait Studio.

Photography is such a personal service, and we love getting to know every family we meet, so it felt right to use Helen’s family name. It’s a nod to her late Granda, Tom McDaniel, too. He was a keen photographer himself and encouraged Helen’s love of photography from when she was a wee girl.
