At Helen McDaniel Portrait Studio, we believe in capturing the true essence of your family by creating happy and fun-filled moments. Our experienced photographer, Helen, has been capturing families and kids of all ages for over a decade, so you can trust her to make your entire family comfortable during your shoot.

what to expect
Our studio has a friendly, relaxed vibe and is as child-friendly as possible. Kids can kick back and be themselves, and there’s plenty of parking right at the door with easy access for prams!
02. props & pets
what to bring
Pets are very welcome, they’re part of the family! We also love props, so bring along whatever makes your little ones’ faces light up.
03. ordering
how it works
You’ll return to our studio 1-2 weeks after your session to view your images, and Trevor will help you choose how to display them. Your portraits are ready within 4-6 weeks of ordering.

Absolutely! Pets are very welcome at Helen McDaniel Portrait Studio. Those furry little friends are well and truly part of the family, so we believe they should be in your family portrait.

As we are a fine art studio, we don’t sell digital images or loose prints. We specialise in beautiful wall portraits and other presentation products, handcrafted so your images will be preserved for many years to come.

We love props! What do you love to do as a family? Is there a hobby or sport that really defines who you are? Bring it all along for your portrait session for absolutely unique and truly personal portraits.

Your beautiful portraits will be ready within 4-6 weeks of ordering. Then you can pick them up and hang them where they belong: on the walls of your home!
